We Can Make Nigeria Ungovernable, If You Don’t Bow To Tinubu As President-elect –Fani Kayode Warns

Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation and member of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council, has threatened supporters of the opposition Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party to abandon their efforts to nullify the 2023 presidential election that produced Bola Tinubu.

According to Sahara Reporters, Fani-Kayode stated this in a statement on Saturday, threatening that if supporters of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi do not accept Tinubu as president-elect and cease protesting the results of the 2023 poll, the country will be made ungovernable.

“As a result of the events of the last few days, I am forced to conclude that the Nigerian opposition, represented by Atiku Abubakar supporters (Atikulators) and Peter Obi supporters (Obidients), have lost control of their senses,” he remarked.

“They must seize control before it is too late.” They are attempting to begin something that they will be unable to complete and cannot possibly comprehend the end of.” I advise you to calm down, purge yourself of hatred, sheath your sword of war, drop your dastardly game plan and not-so-hidden agenda to establish an Interim Government, desist from displaying madness, bend the knee and bow to your President-elect, refrain from weaponizing falsehood, act within the law, and, if necessary, make your protestations quietly in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

“Go to court, if necessary, and explain your case with respect, dignity, and decorum, and I assure you that there will be NO issues, regardless of the outcome.” That is the essence of democracy and the rule of law. You have some wins and some losses.

“However if you continue to say you do not believe in the system or institutions, that the President-elect must not be sworn in under any circumstances and that you have no faith in the courts or the rule of law and you encourage people to take the law into their own hands then you are inviting chaos, anarchy, violence, tyranny, fascism, treason, a breach of the constitution and the law of the jungle and we will NOT sit by idly and allow that.”

“Please take this as a timely warning. We cannot continue to be a punching bag for the enemy indefinitely, and we will eventually respond. Believe me when I say that if there is any foul play in this subject, or any conspiracy to undermine the will of the people, we will make this nation ungoverned.”
