UPDATE: 15-year-old girl Attacks Pregnant Woman While Pushing A Pram Carrying Her Two Kids: The teenager who viciously assaulted a pregnant mother while she was pushing her children’s pram has pleaded guilty to the attack while arguing she should be set free despite having committed the crime while on bail.

The 15-year-old-girl appeared in Perth Children’s Court on Friday where she accepted responsibility for attacking the mum and trying to rob her.

She entered a guilty plea over the sickening assault which occurred on September 5 in Smallman Place, Ashfield.

The court heard the girl, who was released on bail only two days before the attack in connection with a series of violent burglaries, tried to secure bail again – twice.

But her application was denied twice as she was deemed a threat to the community, 7News reported.

Shocking CCTV footage showed the girl riding on a scooter as the unsuspecting 37-year-old mum walks into view before the girl ambushes her, dragging her to the ground by her hair.

The pram flipped during the attack, but the mother clung to the pram as the teen punched punched her and tried to steal her handbag.

The footage released by WA Police sparked a wave of outrage on social media with many shocked at the violence and others concerned for the welfare of the mother and children.

The twins were left dangling on their backs in their upturned pram while their mother tried to fight off her attacker, who was raining down blows on the mum’s head.

The mum, who was five months pregnant at the time, suffered minor cuts and bruising during her ordeal.

The teenager has been remanded in custody since her arrest over the attack.

The footage of the teen’s arrest showed her swearing at officers, screaming and crying while other household members cry out in the background.

She was charged with one count of robbery and after pleading guilty will be sentenced in November.

Earlier this month it was revealed a second teen, who was with the 15-year-old at the time of the September 5 attack, is being held over a shockingly similar alleged crime.

The 14-year-old, who was not charged over the pram attack, allegedly approached a 39-year-old woman as she walked near a car park at Curtin University at around 4pm on September 28 and snatched her handbag after assaulting her.
