During a live interview on Africa Independent Television (AIT) a few hours ago, Comrade Ayo Olorunfemi stated that the main objective of the Apapa-led faction of the Labour Party is to withdraw the petition that the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, filed in court challenging the declaration of APC’s Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25th presidential election. He added that the Apapa camp believes that they will be able to achieve their objective if they can remove Abure from his position as the National Chairman of the party.  Continue Reading>>>

Quoting Comrade Ayo Olorunfemi’s exact statement, he said, “The Apapa-led faction is working for Tinubu to withdraw Obi’s petition filed in court. When we say that these people are working very hard to frustrate the matter at the tribunal, we know what we are talking about. It is not Abure they are trying to attack, they are coming for Peter Obi, our presidential candidate, and the only way they can do that is to get Abure out of the way. They believe that once they get Abure out of the way, they will get to Peter Obi, but unfortunately, our team is solid.”
