While speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Jalingo, Umar extended his congratulations.
The victory, according to him, shows how desperately needed good governance is in Nigeria.
He noted that the commitment of Tinubu to democratic growth of Nigeria had yielded a good result.
He described the election as best in the anal of history, and pledged his loyalty and support to the Tinubu/Shettima presidency.
He called on Nigerians to support the president-elect to succeed.
Similarly, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf, another chieftain of the APC in Jalingo, expressed happiness with the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the Presidential Election.
He also commended INEC for doing a good job.
