Signs and Symptoms that Shows You May Be Suffering from Stroke: Stroke is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide; WHO estimates that ischaemic heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide.

Since 2000, the number of deaths has increased the most, rising by more than 2 million to 8.9 million in 2019. The second and third leading causes of death are stroke and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, accounting for around 11% and 6% of all deaths respectively.

Stroke, also known as stroke, occurs when the blood supply to a part of the brain is interrupted for some reason or a blood vessel in the brain ruptures.

In both cases, part of the brain is damaged or dies. Strokes can cause permanent brain damage, long-term disability or even death.
