My Heart Goes To His Wife And Unfortunate Family – Former Labour Party DG Sympathises With Ekweremadu

The former Director General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe, has sympathized with the former Nigerian Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, who was found guilty of human trafficking by the UK Court. It was reported that Ike Ekweremadu and his wife alongside a Nigerian doctor identified as Obinna Obeta was charged guilty of attempting organ harvesting from a Nigerian young man. It was said that the former Senator was trying to save the life of his only daughter by providing a kidney donor for her.

Doyin Okupe, the former Director General of the Labour Party reacted through his Twitter page praying that God should intervene in the problem and help the family. Saying that his heart is with the former Deputy Senate President, his wife, and his unfortunate family and prayed that God should intervene in their time of trouble.

“My heart this morning goes out to Ekweremadu, his wife, and his unfortunate family. I cannot act as a judge in this matter. But I pray that the God of the universe who rules over the affairs of men will intervene in this sad development. God, help us in this time of trouble as you promised”
