Kenneth Okonkwo, had noted that the Labour Party spent much money in hiring a jet for it’s Campaign: The spokesperson of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo, had noted that the Labour Party spent much money in hiring a jet for it’s Campaign during the February 25 presidential election.

The spokesperson made this known on his Twitter handle as he explained that Labour Party is a party of Nigeria people adding that the party needs money to run its activities.

According to the tweet he made, “The Labour Party is the party of the Nigerian people but we have to be realistic. The party needs money too to run its activities. What do you think should be the appropriate nomination fee for the gubernatorial aspirants? I recall how costly our campaign was with our hired jet.”

SaharaReporters had reported on Monday that Labour Party spokesperson, Kenneth Okonkwo said that the N25million being charged by the LP as the nomination fee for gubernatorial aspirants was exorbitant and would not stand.
