The Super Eagles of Nigeria captain and former Leicester City star, Ahmed Musa has today disclosed his intention to continue playing football by representing the Super Eagles as long as his body allows him to do so.

The 30 year old forward maestro has been at the peak of his senior professional football career since breaking his way into the Nigerian senior national team, where he has done remarkably well until this time.

His consistency and top notch performance in the team has made him a regular figure in the squad thereby made him to be always called up for international duty which was yet the case in the current international break.

Ahmed Musa while he was been asked by a journalist as to when he wish to retire from international football as many fans expected him to have hanged his boot, made it known that he doesn’t listen to anybody as he is the one doing his job which is what he knows best to do, so he will continue to play for the Super Eagles as long as his body allows him.

He said this today in a video as shared by Punch Newspaper with a post via their verified Twitter handle as he responded to some questions as to when he will be quitting the national team.

“We know our country, no matter what, whoever they call you, they have to talk. I don’t have to listen to anyone because I am the one doing my job, but if my body wants me to stop, I will stop.

I am playing with my club and have a good contract, so why does anyone want me to resign from the national team? This is what am playing and know how to play”.
