Davido Says Why He Performed At Alex Otti’s Inauguration Free Of Charge

Davido Says Why He Performed At Alex Otti’s Inauguration Free Of Charge: On 29th May (Democracy Day), the President and Governors elect from the 2023 general elections were sworn into office across the country, Nigeria.
Davido however surprised many after he stormed Abia State and performed at Labour Party’s Alex Otti’s inauguration.

While many thought he was offered a reasonable amount of money to turn up at the event, Davido has cleared the air about not getting a dime for his performance.
Davido’s disclosure came after a netizen identified as @Sports_Doctor2 wrote:
“Many don’t know but Davido is Dr. Alex Otti’s godson and he’s in Umuahia at the inauguration after-party where he’s giving a full performance.
It’s a full-blown show in Umuahia 🔥🔥🔥.”
Replying, another tweep asked if the performance was free.
“Na free performance??,” the user asked. CONTINUE READING>>>
Responding, Davido confirmed that he didn’t get a dime. He added that he has known Alex Otti all his life.
“Not a dime I’ve known Excellency all my life … and I’m sure he will do well for the people of Abia state ❤️,” the music star averred.
