Bwala: The PDP Still Remains Focused On Challenging Tinubu’s Emergence As The President-elect.

As the recent petitions filed against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the PDP’s Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his counterpart in the Labour Party (LP) Peter Gregory Obi continue to elicit public discussion, the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council (PDP PCC), Daniel Bwala has disclosed that his party (PDP) still remains focused on challenging the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.

While speaking during a live interview on Arise TV

a few hours ago, Daniel Bwala claimed that if the PDP succeeds in getting the Appeal Court to annul the election, conducting a re-run election will not be an issue because the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, had already said that the N300 billion which was brought out for the election covers the main election and the possibility of a re-run election.

In addition, he further stated that one of the concerns people raise when thinking of the possibility of the court ordering a re-run election is the cost of conducting a re-run election.

However, Daniel Bwala insists that N300 billion is enough for the main election and a re-run election and for that reason, funds will not be an issue.
