Soda baths are cheap and safe to take once a week. Numerous skin health issues can be addressed, and the benefits to your skin will be obvious. If you want to get the most out of your baking soda bath and reduce the amount of money you spend on skin care products, it’s best to drink a lot of water beforehand. In addition to the obvious benefits to your skin, taking a bath with baking soda has been shown to have a number of other positive effects on your health. A baking soda bath will leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed. The procedure is as follows:

 

The water in your tub should be warm, not hot, so fill it up and get in.

Let the baking soda dissolve in the water (preferably five or more spoons’ worth)

You should soak for at least half an hour, preferably an hour, make sure you’re alone and free from distractions, and maybe even light some candles to set the mood.

To unwind, put on some soothing music, burn some incense, or break out the cinnamon sticks.

A 10- to 40-minute soak should leave you feeling completely at ease.

Taking a bath more than once a week isn’t necessary to see positive results; in fact, doing so just once a week is sufficient.

 

After a long soak, it’s best to give yourself a quick rinse in clean water. The use of an exfoliating washcloth or loofah can further assist in removing dead skin cells and toxins. After that, pat yourself dry with a clean towel and apply moisturizer to keep your skin from cracking from lack of hydration; this is where water intake comes in handy.
