Michigan authorities found missing 15-year-old Adriana Davidson on Monday afternoon, who was last seen near Ann Arbor High School on Jan. 27, local officials and her family said.

Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) spokesman Derek Jackson told Fox Digital News that a unit of authorities found her body near Pioneer High School’s playing field around 1 p.m. Monday.

“There is no evidence of foul play at this early stage,” WCSO said in an update posted to Facebook. “As the crime scene is within the city limits, the Ann Arbor Police Department will be handling the death investigation.”

The girl’s father, John Davidson, said in a Facebook post on Monday that his family needed “time to mourn” following the tragic discovery.

“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but my daughter Adriana was found and dead!” John Davidson wrote. “I’m not sure where I’m going from here, but I’m so grateful for all the support and love from everyone in this country, especially the family and friends who helped find and post Adriana!”

Adriana — also known as Adi — didn’t come home Friday after graduating from Pioneer High School. That’s when her family began searching for her, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO). According to WCSO, Adriana’s friends last saw her around 11 a.m. outside of high school.

The 15-year-old girl’s cellphone was found near the high school tennis court on Friday and returned to Adriana’s boyfriend, her brother Anthony Lopez said.

In a video posted on Facebook on Monday, Lopez said he and his family were being interviewed by FOX 2 News when they received a call to the sheriff’s office “immediately.”

Missing Adriana Davidson was last seen on Jan. 27 at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. “Those two detectives were there and let us know they found Adriana, but she was dead,” Lopez said in the emotional video. “My sister is dead.” It was unclear where authorities found the dead teen.

Lopez had urged authorities to release video footage of his sister traveling Friday afternoon on Route 29 in an Ann Arbor bus called “The Ride.”
